The Grace Trust

The Grace Trust is a  grant-making charity associated with the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church in the UK, funded through donations from its members. Established in 1967, The Grace Trust is one of the main ways in which members of the Church support charities and community initiatives across the UK and internationally.

Guided by Christian principles of care and compassion, The Grace Trust funds projects that deliver meaningful social benefit – from healthcare, education and humanitarian relief to poverty alleviation, children’s services and pioneering medical research. Over the decades, The Grace Trust has supported hundreds of organisations working to improve lives and strengthen communities.

Recently, it has supported Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool to help build a new Same Day Emergency Care Centre, funded pioneering secondary breast cancer research through Clatterbridge Cancer Charity, and funded specialist equipment for children with complex needs at Derian House Children’s Hospice in Chorley.

Internationally, grants from The Grace Trust supported humanitarian recovery efforts in Jamaica following Hurricane Melissa, through organisations including Samaritan’s Purse, ShelterBox and Mercy Corps.
