So, what would your feelings be if you had another Plymouth Brethren neighbour? 

“I would be absolutely delighted, not because I don’t want to have the ones we’ve got now, but because they are just incredible, but any Plymouth Brethren family, I would welcome them with open arms. 

“I know that charity work is a big part of their ethos and their values, and I do know that they even did a beach cleaning not so long ago. Which is, of course, to do with environmental issues also.

“So obviously, as a community, they’ve got a lot of people who are looking at different aspects of our lives. 

“My husband and I have both been quite ill over the years, and the care and concern that they have shown us then by bringing us hot meals when we both came out of hospital was incredible. Forever grateful for that. 

“So, I am really proud that someone has asked me to talk about the Brethren family next door. 

“I think it’s very important that people get the right perception of the Plymouth Brethren community.”
